What command will allow to display images from other Linux partitions on KDE?

E-mail Print PDF

Kubuntu install Linux distro with not-root users capable to do root operations through "root". So, how we can display images that belong to "root" user in a second Linux distro installed on the same PC?

The command is easy: sudo dolphin, after to mount the relative partition.

This is important because save a lot of time and it is the only mode ... to display and access the local partition graphically!

E-mail Print PDF

From FTLinuxCourse BASE we call a simply trick to create a file with zero lenght.

Choose a filename that DOES NOT exist, like "eco".

Then, run the command " eco>comments"

Second example:

[root@futuretg mail]# ls -al futuretechclub
-rw------- 1 futuretechclub mail 12563653 Oct 10 12:06 futuretechclub
[root@futuretg mail]# eco >futuretechclub
-bash: eco: command not found
[root@futuretg mail]# ls -al futuretechclub
-rw------- 1 futuretechclub mail 0 Oct 10 12:16 futuretechclub
[root@futuretg mail]#

Now, the file have zero size.

Newsflash

We want you visit FutureTG.com !

FTLinuxCourse is a piece of FutureTG.com ...

Long time ago when I see that basically all our Web traffic go for FTLinuxCours, I dedicate a specific Website for that purpose. This Website.

However, our main Website, FutureTG.com remains in a second place.

We are inviting you to visit FutureTG.com because more news and tips about Linux are actually included there.

Our idea to maintain FTLinuxCourse.com, was to offer the just the training on-line

Thanks,

Giovanni A. Orlando.
